Good afternoon, Brassfield Families! This is Mrs. MacWilliams calling with your weekly updates and reminders for the school week of Monday, November 3rd - Friday, November 7th.
Curious about the final tally for our October Box Tops Challenge with North Ridge Elementary? Going into week 4, Brassfield was down 1,987 Box Tops. Check out today's BTV News broadcast for the final results.
Attention Carpoolers: In an effort to create a safer and more efficient carpool, effective immediately, we are asking all vehicles entering carpool to do so by way of a right hand turn. Any vehicle attempting to make a left will be directed toward Honeycutt and may join the right turning carpool line. Additionally, as to avoid blocking community traffic, all carpool vehicles waiting in line will be directed to pull onto the shoulder. Hazards are encouraged and may be utilized as an indicator that your vehicle is part of our carpool.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 4th is Election Day, and as a reminder, Brassfield's cafeteria is a polling site. Entry through the cafeteria doors will be limited only to voting community members.
Friday, November 5th is an Early Release Day for all students. Dismissal will begin at 1:15pm.
A Message from Jean Monroe, Instructional Technology Facilitator:
My husband, John, and I want to thank you for all the support that you have provided our family during this challenging time in our lives. We have been amazed and humbled by the kindness and generosity of others. Knowing that others care inspires us to keep moving forward in a positive light. The donations made for the Parents Night Out will certainly help us with our medical expenses! John is doing well with the care he is receiving at the Duke Brain Tumor Center. Regretfully, I had to take early retirement to be home with him. I will miss working at Brassfield! The staff, students, and parents are the BEST!!
Have a wonderful week!
