Good evening, Brassfield Families. This is Mrs. MacWilliams calling with your weekly updates and reminders for the school week of Monday, October 20th - Friday, October 24th.
Welcome back, Track 4! You're all back just in time for the last few days of Brassfield's Fall Book Fair, which will conclude this Wednesday, October 22nd. A very special thanks to Brassfield's amazing parent volunteers who have spent countless hours planning, preparing, and managing another very successful event thus far.
There are just two weeks remaining in the North Ridge vs. Brassfield Box Tops Challenge, which North Ridge has deemed its 'Save Soutter' campaign. As of last week, we were down by 3,633 Box Tops. It is safe to say that I am expecting every box in every Brassfield pantry, cabinet, and cupboard to have a hole by Thursday, October 30th. Mrs. MacWilliams only looks good in Brassfield.
Monday, October 20th is a Track 1 Spirit Night at Marco's Pizza, followed by a Track 2 Spirit Night at Marco's on Tuesday, October 21st and a Track 4 Spirit Night at Marco's on Wednesday, October 22nd. Please be sure to place your orders to receive a pizza in your own child's personally designed pizza box.
I'm looking forward to another wonderful week of meaningful learning and teaching - and Box Top collecting - ahead at Brassfield.
Good evening, Brassfield Families! This is Mrs. MacWilliams calling with your weekly updates and reminders for the school week of Monday, October 13th - Friday, October 17th.
Game on, Brassfield! Did you know that North Ridge Elementary has challenged us to a Box Tops competition? Starting last week and continuing through the end of October, each school will collect Box Tops to be tallied on October 31st. The principal of the school with the least amount of Box Tops will be required to visit the opposing school, wearing the opposing school's tee-shirt for an applause parade. Worst of all, the principal of the school with the least amount of Box Tops will have to wear the opposing school's tee-shirt to the WCPSS' November Principals' meeting. Brassfield is the only school that looks good on me, Bears. Send in those Box Tops!
Hear ye, hear ye. It's Book Fair Week! This Wednesday, October 15th, please join us for pizza, read alouds, book shopping, and fun at Brassfield's Media By Moonlight event from 5:00pm - 8:00pm.
Brassfield students have been working diligently to decorate their own personal pizza box decorations for our upcoming Spirit Nights at Marco's, and this Thursday, October 16th, our Track 3 families are first up to have the opportunity to order a pizza, specially packaged in their child's uniquely designed box.
Friday, October 17th is an Early Release Day for all students. Dismissal will be held at 1:15pm.
I'm looking forward to another wonderful week of meaningful learning and teaching ahead at Brassfield!
